not only offer up chances for rapid exploration and iterations of the design process but also allow a designer to figure out direction, flow, program, and utility on a potential project site. The layout and adjacency of spaces in the program could potentially favor individual relaxation or group interaction, user experiences which need to be fully explored before moving on to tectonics and aesthetics. The layout of these spaces and programmatic adjacencies are not only something defined by the architect but also the client in how they want their building to operate. Once a direction is decided upon rapid iteration on methods of execution are required to fully grasp whether or not space should be spliced or intertwined, stitched together or isolated. The ability to execute these design explorations and adequately represent them to the client is paramount in the design process to fulfill all project deliverables.
